Next weekend: Main Flow in Bogotá (August 28th, 2010)

Next weekend, We will have a great concert. "URBAN 4 EDUCATION" presents many local artists as Damian, Jayemvee, Yako, Dj 113, Dreamy One, Aerophon, Cariñito, Dan Marquez, Bill Pachman and Delkomun. In order to present the international artist, it's important to say that he already came to Colombia, He is the big Main Flow. This event will help poor children because each assitant have to carry out a notebook, pencils, erasers, rulers, or anything that could help them. So don't hesitate and participate.

Just like old times (Jedi Mind Concert in 2006)

Well, long time ago I wanted to show you this pics, they were taken during the Jedi Mind Tricks Concert here in Bogotá. In this concert, the super Horrorcore Rap group shows us this power onstage. Also, the colombian part was about Dj Cas, Demandados and Flaco Flow y Melanina. Dj Cas is one of most important Dj's in Colombia, and Demandados shows in their lyrics the realness of colombian society. Flaco Flow y Melanina are two Mc's that have an incredible style based in their roots (they are from Buenaventura).

Welcome to Colombian Hip-Hop

Hi everyone! Looking for an expansion in our musica and as English is becoming an International Language. I feel the necessity to create a blog in which I could show to the world the Hip-Hop movement in my country: Colombia.

Many people recognize Colombia just for drugs and violence, but here we have more than that. So I expect to show you this "undergruond" part of my country. I will show you here the new tendencies in hip-hop, new sounds created here, and of course, a lot of Hip-hop.
